Do not read anything into his closing words or signature except he may think this is a warm way to end emails to friends. Different people have different methods of expressing emotions or friendly conversation/contact with others. After a few more months have past you will know if this is his custom to end mail or conversation with the phrase word love or it this is a term he used with emotional impact. In other words do not be soon soon to translate the word love into a new relationship until you know if it is love or friendship being inquire about.
