Egypt: when was the last time you cooked/eat kolkas (taro) the green one?

do they have kolkas in the netherlands????

it is not diff. at all. cutting it is what is difficult and NEVER wash it after cutting it cuz it excretes yukky mucous. i buy it frozen elohem

1.have some boiled soup (i dont know if u can since u r vegetarian??)

2. squeeze lemon juice onto the soup

3.add koklas to it and leave it on the stove till it is cooked.

in an another pan:

4.cut coriander leaves (kosbara khadra ) and salk(i dont know what that is in english)

now dont tell me they have salk in netherlands????

5 7amarhom with garlic in butter(oil in ur case)

6.after step 5 is done you blend the khodra with some soup . the hand blebder wud do just fine.

zaman they used to yedo2u bel houn.

add the pureed khodra to the kolkas that was on the stove, give them alittle boil 2gether so the kodra mixes well with the kolkas.

season with salt and pepper to taste.

take care dont over cook the kolkas so it doesnt end up mushy, t should be square like keda.
