You should keep this to yourself. If she does tell your boss and your boss asks you about it, then be upfront and own up to what happened. Apologize for your actions and then say it won't happen again. Then move on, don't dwell on it.

    Dear Meshti

Do not quit. It is easier to find a job if you are working then if you are unemployed.

Also, if you are "separated" It will be easier to draw unemployment. Get in the job search process immediately. Do not wait until you get fired to stop looking.

If approached by management, tell the truth. Try to find grace in their heart.

Tell your boyfriend to keep out of your workplace from now on. He is not welcome there.

You screwed up. Recover. Don't let it happen again !

I would offer her lunch and have a nice girl talk about it. Its about the only thing you can do at this point. Don't quit, unless you have another job. And don't quit because of this. They might not fire you, you never know. Just play it out.

I know the allure of that sort of thing, but that is very unprofessional, and your best hopes now are to not say another word about it, ever. Don't do that at work again unless you want to lose your job. Hopefully your coworker will be discreet... you might want to start doing that as well... good luck!

    hmm very interesting,

Usually the bosses gets that kind of action *wink wink*

Talk to her, that wouldn't hurt.

But it would hurt if she tells that just to get a promotion. Either way, if you feel like quitting because you think she would tell. Quit fast as this may hurt your reputation as a professional. You'll have a hard time getting to other companies.

    ~Good luck

Say nothing unless you are asked by management. Then tell the truth and if necessary apologise.

Don't just quit, it solves nothing.

I wouldn't fire an employee over something like that.
