What is an inexpensive way to fill Pot holes?

The city cannot afford to fill pot holes. How can I do it myself for me and my neighbors?

Fill them with course gravel and put a coat of Sakrete asphalt on top about 4 inches deep

Cheap fix: Put gravel in them. It will come out, but will fix it temporarily.

Better fix: Buy a bag of concrete mix and follow the instructions. It will crack and break up eventually, but will last longer than the gravel.

Better yet fix: Buy some asphalt patch and patch them according to the instructions.

Best fix: Tell the city to scrounge up some money and have them fixed or you'll send your flat tire bills and alignment bills to the city.
