Why don't people realize nutella is just frosting?
Lol, so i got a spread of answers that revealed exactly what i'm talking about.
Nutella is frosting, look at the ingredients. hazelnuts is THIRD after sugar and oil. ingredients are listed in order of abundance, aka if its 3rd after oil, there is almost none in there.
nutella likes to pretend its like peanut butter, but any peanut butter is actually 90%+ peanuts, whereas nutella is probably 90% frosting.
I guess they are about the best con job out there, if you knew it was frosting you wouldn't put dollops of it on your bread, never mind your childs.
and its amazing to see how many answered without bothering to do the most basic fact check:P

They've been had by the slick health marketing of nutella as equivalent to peanut butter when in fact hazzle nuts contribute very little to the final product, it is mostly sugar as said. The ingredients speak for themselves. Even nutella admit that even if all the hazelnut, cocoa solids and skimmed milk combined are less than 28% of the ingredients. The rest is sugar and oil.
They have indeed convinced parents to spread frosting as you say on their childrens breakfast. Quite masterful indeed.

its not frosting, smart one.
frostings made of butter and sugar.
its basically like peanut butter (hazelnuts are used instead) with some cocoa & sugar added -__-

It may seem like frosting, but it tastes more natural with the hazelnuts in it. And it is a lot healthier than frosting.

What *I* want to know is, why people don't realize that Vegimite or Marmite is just axle-grease.

i think there is a big difference, i cant really explain it but if you look at the texture than you'll see.
