The 4th amendment is very interesting. You can write about search and seizure. To narrow it down, you could write about the right to stop someone and search their vehicle, or their home without a warrant.

    How old are you?

    What class is this for?

    What do you care about?

There are ever-so-many issues that you might care about, and all have a constitutional issue.

For example, should kids in school have the right to wear clothes with political messages in school? What if the message directly affects that school (This is a first amendment issue)

For example, should children be required to say the pledge of allegiance in school. After all, its the pledge of allegiance to our country, and the school is paid by our country (This is a first amendment issue).

For example, should convicts be allowed to vote (don't laugh, this year the 9th Circuit Court Of Appeals held that convicted felons, in PRISON, have that right). This is a voting rights/14th Amendment issue.

For example, should schools cut boys sports just to so they offer the same number of sports for girls, or should they be required to increase girls sports (this is an equal protection issue).

For example, if the purpose of the second amendment is the last bastion of checks and balances, to preserve the rights of the declaration of independence (to abolosh the government, where necessary), shouldn't we be allowed to own machine guns, tanks, and tactical nuclear weapons, since any final option -- civil war -- requires that we be able to fight against those weapons available to the United States armed forces?

For example, does the government have the right to have universal healthcare? Its a good idea, but where in teh Constitution do you find the right of the Government to take over an entire industry (other than national defense, which IS, in the constitution)?

There are so many ideas, but not knowing your age or gender or class, these are the best I could come up with.

    Good luck
