My mum is a dragon (1964)
My brother is also a dragon (1988)
so other dragons would be people who are born in 1976, 1988, 2000, and people who will be born in 2012 if we don't all die in that year :)

The year of the dragon starts again in 2012, and the element would be water. 2000 was the last year of the dragon, the metal dragon. It was 1988 the year before that (my own birth year! :) the time of the earth dragon, before would be 76 and fire, then 64 and wood. The cycle starts again every 12 years from the last. 2024, a new dragon= it becomes wood agin.
The dragon corresponds to Aries in the western Zodiac, which makes the monthly equivalent April. However, the year and time of your birth (the hour of the dragon is a two hour block between 7:00 am-9:00 am) is more heavily emphasized in the Eastern calendar than the month.
