Be honest who would win in a friendly match: Spain vs. Mexico in Azteca Stadium?
i think it would be 2-2, Mexico is virtually unbeatable in Azteca. Spain will have trouble playing in Azteca.
ok, lets say its not a friendly, Spain & Mexico plays all their best players.
good to hear from you Mr. Baracki Obama

August do you know how hot it gets in Mexico around that time plus the spanish would have a hard time adjusting to the altitude.
Mexico 2

It's obviously a very close call and even though Spain are world champions and one of my favorite teams, there are three main reasons why I don't think they will win tomorrow. 1) The game will be played in Argentina and the players will be doing their best to produce something positive for the fans after crashing out 4-0 to Germany in the World Cup. 2) Puyol is injured and is not in the line-up and whilst Xavi will play, he will not be 100% as he did have a problem with his ankle against Liechtenstein last week. 3) I anticipate Argentina using a different formation from the one Maradona deployed against Germany - may be the new coach will figure out how to best utilize Messi and the rest of the Albicelestes. I'm planning on betting on this game as well and I'll probably put $40 on Over 2.5 goals (because of Puyol's injury, the firepower of both sides and Argentina's defensive troubles) and may be throw $10 on Argentina because of the reasons I listed. Good luck!

Mexico, the altitude, smog and the stadium will effect Spain. The game will probably be close though.

as great as Spain is they would lose.probably by a score of 1-0 or 2-1.
the altitude is too difficult to overcome.even if they start well by the 2nd half the Spaniards would be wasted and out of energy.

If it was a World Cup situation no doubt Spain would win, but in a friendly match situation I'm going with a tie or a winning margin of no more than 1 goal for Spain.
