It takes more then three days to know you are pregnat, let alone have any signs. You can be scaried with the thought of being pregnat the second you have sex. Im sorry to say but it's the next period to come she should worry about, even then its not uncommon to have early pregnacy bleeding. It happens more then you think. You need to also realize that a period is not always a period. A normal cycle does end in bleeding, But not always are you ovulating that month. Sometimes you can still get what seems to be a period even though it's not. One big thing you need to know is that sperm can live in your body for approximately 4 to 5 days, and the egg can live for 24 to 48 hours after being released. So there are chances to get pregnat at a later day. Let me ask you this.....Did you or do you use any kind of birth control??? The whole calander birth control can not always work, because of what I stated earlier, a women might not always ovulate and life of eggs and spern needs to also be factored in. Hope this helps.

A period is the lining of the uterus/womb that has been building up ready to receive a fertilised egg coming away. It's triggered by hormones as they change during your girlf's monthly cycle. If she's having a period it generally means that the egg that was released that month hasn't been fertilised.
There is always a small chance of getting pregnant and still having a period but the pregnancy hormones won't have built up enough if an egg has been fertilised for about two weeks. To be honest, if she's having a period it's highly unlikely she's pregnant.
If you're still worried about it and depending on your moral stance and whether you two are trying for a baby either go and get some emergency contraception straight away (which is likely to make her feel unwell as it's a huge dose of hormones) or wait a couple of weeks and take a pregnancy test.
You should talk to her about it, she knows how her body works!

OH, I think it`s both. A girl can be pregnant before or after her period. So, if you don`t want to have a child yet.. Better make love before her period. Just follow a schedule, I overheard someone say that.. Don`t have sex if a girl just finished it`s menstrual period. Because the girl is vulnerable. She gets pregnant easily. *Did I use the vulnerable word correctly? HAHAHA.* Anyways, that`s what I think though. Ã

It's really different for everyone. Some girls don't get their periods when their pregnant, others do. The only way to tell is for her to take a test.
