First of all---I hope you didn't lay this thing on its side...That makes refrigerators very un -happy..If you did unplug it and allow the freon-oil to settle down for 24 hours....Put it to recommended settings and put a big pot of water in it so it has something to work on...If you hear it running-chances are its fine...A fridge with stuff in it will certainly run better---it needs stuff to retain the cold so if you are sure its working fill it up and leave it alone for awhile.
