Why are freemasons considered evil or bad?

Freemasons are considered evil or bad by the ignorant or those with Silly Putty for brains.

If you 'keep hearing' whatever it is you're hearing - and you don't investigate it yourself - then you're just perpetuating ignorance. There have been many politicians that are Freemasons. And there have been many gardeners that are Freemasons. Freemasons can be found in every walk of life, and in virtually every city. Some are even musicians (NOT Jay-Z, however; he has a criminal record and is ineligible for membership. Brad Paisley, on the other hand, IS a Freemason).

The 'hype' is nothing. Just miscellaneous ramblings of the uninformed.

Theistic Satanism is the veneration of of Satan as a supernatural deity, while atheistic versions tend to be agnostic, ignositic or try to call themselves atheists (which they're not; they just think the word sounds cool). Duh. - Christianity is not 'where Yahweh (God) is worshiped but Jesus is also looked at while you also have angels that are even lower.' Duh. Answerers who don't know the first thing about religion or probably shouldn't be trying to explain either one.

well technically they are a "secret society" as they do keep much of what they do a secret, but most people saying they are evil and bad are either conspiracy theorists who read the wrong books, or people just wanting to mouth... they do have a large amount of high powered people in their ranks though.

you know what i dont know about the freemasons thats why i asked the question. but i do believe their is a secret society in hollywood where there is satanic rituals going on in the music videos. if you look in my profile at the videos you will see what im talking about. people really need to wake up and see whats going on in our world. not only in the music industry but in polotics. the government is controlling us and lying to us. they put out what they want us to here on the new and things like that not the full detailed story on things thats going on that will affect us. we need to fight and put a stop to it. people who expose whats going on are considered crazy and insane. thats whats keeping us down. there is a battle between good and evil in this world today.

The thing about secretive groups is that people do not trust them and always think the worst.
