PS3 or Xbox 360? Which one?
Ok, so I have already had two Xbox 360s. I just got the E-74 error, and on my last one I got an Unreadable Disk on everything. I am wondering if I should just transition to the PS3. Does the PS3 get all of the possible errors like the Xbox 360? Also, does the PS3 have a lot of the games and online stuff like the 360? I don't really play Halo 3 but, yea.

The PS3 has less errors than the Xbox 360, but if you get a newer 360 (or have yours replaced for free via mail) the newer 360's fail less too. I've had my Elite for 2 years with no fail, after a red ring 2 years ago. Games like COD and Assassins Creed are available for both consoles, but if you like Halo (which I saw you don't care for), or Gears Of War, the 360's the way to stay. They both have a lot of online content, but different content; the 360 has more original/classic games, where the PS3 has more original PlayStation games.
In the end, I'd ask your friends you know. It's more fun to play online with people you know, plus you can lan and stuff. I personally prefer the 360, but it's up to you.

Well, I have a 360 so my answer might be biased, but I did work at gamestop for like a year. The PS3 has online like the 360, but not as many cool games. I was thinking of buying a PS3 just for God of War III, but am not sure if it is worth it. If you buy a new 360 the errors wont (or shouldn't) happen. The 360 has a lot more exclusive games than the PS3 does too. Even game companies that were exclusive to the PS3 went public so they could be played on the 360, so if you don't want to only play madden and anime games I would go with a brand new 360.

I'm not sure about the PS3 errors, but I do know that the PS3 has great alternatives to some of the 360's best titles. For example, the PS3 has MAG, Killzone, and God of War exclusives as well as Modern Warfare 2. I just wrote an article about choosing the best system and listed it in my sources.

PS3 has a horrible failure with live failures.
Then since the online is free, people who hack just have to change their IP address and start another account, while paying for live on the xbox they would have to have a trial card or another subscription. All so, with the PS3 I heard that you have to be playing the same game to talk to someone if you want to be in a party while playing a game.
Basically, paying for live...has it's reason and they give a better service.
Now in terms of all those errors, you can simply fix them on your own.

PS3 has almost no errors unless you damage it yourself, free online, many online features, and all of the games that the xbox has with about 4 times more exclusives (PS3 only). It also plays blu-ray. Its definately worth it.
