What's up with google?
You know after you search for something in google you can click show options and there are a bunch of options to help you narrow you search? Why are the best going away? It used to have forum and reviews. Is this going away? If so do you know a good search that has these options?
go to google and search for something, right above the first result is says show options.

Top left of the results page says "Web - Show Options" and that leads to a lot of choices for narrowing down your search.

News
Blogs
Updates
Books
Discussions
are the only ones there now. Did there used to be others? Discussions sounds like it might be the Forum, and Reviews might be under Videos or Books.
Google is THE search, that the others are measured by. Stick with it. At the bottom of every page there are Help, Contact and Complaints links, too, so you can write to them if something's not right or you'd like to see other features.

I have been using Google for well over 5 years and do not ever recall seeing a NARROW SEARCH feature. Where was that?

Bing is a good search engine but i dont seem to get what your trying to ask.
