13 month old son SCARED of bath time!!!?
My son is 13 months old and is deathly afraid of water. I've tried bath toys, getting in the tub with him, letting him bathe with his 4 year old sister and bathing him in the sink but he still screams like he is being tortured. He hasn't liked water since he was born, but it seems to be getting worse instead of better. I'm not sure how to deal with this as my 4 year old has LOVED bathtime since birth. It's getting to the point where I feel like a terrible mom for making him take a bath. Anyone dealing with this issue? Any good ideas on how to get him to like his bathtime??
Wow Jessica, that's a wonderful way to treat a one year old. I hope you don't have kids.

try to make it as fun as possible or let him help you run it and pick what towel he wants etc. please dont listen to jessicas advice that is just wrong. possibly try washing him down first from the bath then in a few days try letting him stand up in whilst you wash him then sitting. just take it in stages. good luck xx

I just now gave my son a bath and he is scared too.He is 10 months old Everything you have said is the same as me. I dont know what to do either!

uhmm..why don't you get people around you to comment on how he smells bad. he might get the message.
