I have a PS3 and recently when I play games the options at the bottom of the screen are cut off.?
It seems like the resolution is too big or something, but I restored the default settings on the PS3 and it changed the resolution to 1080 which looked right, but then as soon as I put my game in again it switched to 720 which is then too big. This game worked fine a week ago and I can't figure out how to fix it. It's not just the one game either, it seems to be any that I put in.
2 AnswersPlayStation9 years agoCould this be celiac disease?
I have a friend who has celiac disease and she has suggested that I get my 5 year old daughter tested. These are the reasons:
1. My daughter is EXTREMELY tiny! She is off the charts (on the low end) for her height and weight. Both myself and her father are average height/weight. Her pediatrician has never been very concerned with it, because even though she is off the charts she is still following her own curve.
2. She generally has diarrhea or soft stools that tend to float (sorry--gross)
3. She has a big belly even though she is so petite.
4. She has trouble concentrating.
5. She has a VERY large appetite in spite of her small size. She eats everything (healthy/unhealthy) and lots of it!
Does this sound like reason enough to have her tested??
3 AnswersOther - Diseases10 years agoFamiliar with a Mexican recipe?
Is anyone familiar with a Mexican dish that has small bits of chicken and short little noodles in a soupy red liquid. It looked pretty greasy but tasted awesome. I am not Mexican but my neighbors are and they make it sometimes. I believe it's a quick, cheap, easy dish but I am not sure what it's called or anything.

5 AnswersEthnic Cuisine1 decade ago13 month old son SCARED of bath time!!!?
My son is 13 months old and is deathly afraid of water. I've tried bath toys, getting in the tub with him, letting him bathe with his 4 year old sister and bathing him in the sink but he still screams like he is being tortured. He hasn't liked water since he was born, but it seems to be getting worse instead of better. I'm not sure how to deal with this as my 4 year old has LOVED bathtime since birth. It's getting to the point where I feel like a terrible mom for making him take a bath. Anyone dealing with this issue? Any good ideas on how to get him to like his bathtime??

5 AnswersNewborn & Baby1 decade agoMy son curves his body always to the left when I lift him into the air.....?
My son who just turned one always curves his body to the left when I lift him up above my head when we are playing around. He doesn't seem too be bothered by it but it looks strange that he always does that. He's been doing it as long as I can remember. Also, before he started walking he always crawled with his left leg in front of him and the right leg back. My mom has bad scoliosis so she pointed this out to me as a concern for him, that maybe his spine was curved. He had his one year well baby check yesterday and the doctor said scoliosis doesn't show up that early unless it is so severe that we would definitely know it, but he did say we should keep an eye on it. Has anyone seen this before???

1 AnswerNewborn & Baby1 decade ago4 year old daughter never sleeps, what can I do?
I have a 4 year old daughter who puts up a fight almost every night at bedtime. I sometimes wonder if she has insomnia. She wakes up so frequently (and wakes me up) that I wonder if she ever even fell asleep. At 1 am she'll wake me up to tell me she has to go potty. At 3AM I'll hear her crying and I'll go check on her and she tells me she's not tired. At 4 AM she'll come ask if she can lay in bed with me. What is going on here? She does usually nap for 1-2 hours at daycare, but even on days when she misses her nap she does this. She is FULL of energy all day long and I can't understand how she isn't exhausted. Maybe she is overactive? This is a fairly new problem with her (maybe a year now) as she was always a great sleeper. I used to brag to friends about how I would put her in her crib and she would go right to sleep and stay asleep/quiet until I got her up in the morning. We do have a very early morning schedule--I have to leave my house at 5:30 AM to drop her off at daycare by 6:20 AM so she does get up at around 5:00 AM.
Also, I have recently been using a sticker chart (she gets a sticker if she doesn't come out of her room) and I wake up to hear her crying frequently.
PLEASE HELP!!!

I am going on vacation to the Dominican Republic in early February. Is it safe since the earthquake in Haiti? I'm a little worried about my trip since that happened. Both about aftershocks and violence/crowding in the Dominican.

1 AnswerDominican Republic1 decade agoWeird looking spots on the freeway?
What the heck are those red and black marks on the freeway (35 Southbound) near the new parking ramp around the Lakeville or Burnsville area in MN? It looks like a red or black spot probably a 1-2 feet around that looks like something was dragged along the road. The color fades as it gets further away. There is usually one black one and one red one. They come and go. I haven't noticed one recently but used to see them all the time?? Weird?

1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation1 decade agoMuscle spasm in neck still hurting?
About 10 days ago I yawned while hunched over in my car and got a muscle spasm in my neck. I went to the ER the next day because it hurt so bad. The Physician said I had a "significant" spasm along the side of my neck running into my shoulder. At that time he gave me Toradol (sp.) and prescriptions for Vicodin, Flexeril and Naproxin. The Vicodin and Flexeril are now gone and the Naproxin helps only slightly. I thought it was getting much better, but now the last couple days it's been hard to sleep again and hurts, causing headaches. Anyone dealt with this? Any good ways to help the pain? Should I see my family physician or will this eventually go away on its own?

My son is 11 months and 1 week and has no teeth. He also shows no signs of any coming soon. When he had his 9 month well-baby check the doctor said is was pretty rare to not have any teeth by then. Anybody else have a child with late teeth? Should I be concerned?

10 AnswersBaby Names1 decade ago10 MONTH OLD BABY STILL SPITTING UP???
I have a 10 month old boy who has always spit up a lot. He never seemed too bothered by it and gained weight appropriately so I never was concerned. Now he is 10 months old and still spits up or vomits many times a day. At least once after each feeding. It doesn't seem to make a difference whether we feed him his formula, baby food or solids, he spits it up no matter what it is. Like I said he is gaining weight (actually he's a BIG boy at 25 pounds already), but should I be concerned that he is STILL at 10 months spitting up so much? My boyfriend is constantly saying, "this can't be normal, he needs to see a doctor", but I don't know. Any ideas/suggestions?????
