So Nascar fans what are your thoughts on Digger?

The camera in the track is an awesome idea, but I agree Digger is just downright obnoxious. It's odd how everyone talks about how much they hate him and yet he keeps coming back. You'd think he was a cartoon on Fox or something.

I don't really hate him, but I am really just passive towards Digger at this point. I didn't mind back when he was a little hand drawn 2-D cartoon, because that was sort of a funny little deal. Then they overdid it. They made him CG, gave him friends, and diecast cars. Either Digger, or one of his buddies always shows up along with the sponsor spots when they return to the race. Digger makes up a large portion of the FOX souvenir hauler these days. The more I think about it, the less I like him. Who would have thought that he would cause so much anger?

Digger is childish, annoying and an insult to most NASCAR fans. I understand the need to appeal to children, but what about the NFL?

Fox's NFL version of Digger is Cleatus (cleats - get it?), the animated robot who spikes footballs and flexes his muscles in the corner of the TV screen, but Fox doesn't show Cleatus cartoons or force his merchandise down the throats of NFL fans.

How did NASCAR fans get so lucky?

I can stand watching a cartoon. I don't mind Digger.

I don't like him. I think it was a stupid idea in the first place. I've heard that NASCAR is going to start phasing him out and they need to do it quickly, in my opinion.

He needs to go. There are very very few people out there who like him/it.

They really need to have a fan vote so we can vote to get rid of it.

Digger has managed to both suck and blow at the same time.
