Again I'm depressed, for at least the 50th time in my life. Again I want to die....?

...for what, the 1000th time? Should I just hold my breath, knowing that it's passed before? Or should I just say, "screw it. It's not going to get any better." I'm sick of it. Really, and I just want it over. What do you think?

Even though it's hard, try to remind yourself that it has happened before and has passed and this will pass again. This is what I have to tell myself right now. This seems to be the nature of depression. It keeps coming back. Each time we have to fight our way out of it which is not easy. Please hang in there with the rest of us. Good Luck.

I am so sorry for you. Have you had treatment in the past? Dont end things, I know you feel despair but you and I both also know that these awful dark feelings will go away in time. Have you found any triggers to your depression? I find that if I feel low, the best thing for me is to allow myself to feel bad, cry if I need to and then try to remember that I will feel better eventually.

Are you lonely? Could you spend time with a friend or relative that you like and can relax with? Also, take care of your physical self, get plenty of rest - sleep is so important, eat well and force yourself to go out for a brisk walk, even a short one. Busying yourself and doing things for yourself and or others can give you a sense of purpose. Remember this you ARE important, many people love and depend on you even if you cant see that right now.

Take time out for you, make yourself feel better because you deserve happiness and to feel good about yourself.

Please get professional help as soon as you can, dont waste a perfectly good life on this awful affliction. Feel better and good luck.

I know exactly how you feel...Ive been in the same situation many times...and after thinking that i'd beaten depression...it's just started to come back..literary these past few days.

I know you've probably heard 'hold on' or 'it'll get better i promise' but yourself is the only person that can make that change...as i figured out!

Ask yourself what makes you sad and depressed? And try to maybe change them in some way.

I don't think i can actually help you more until you say what's getting you down and depressed!
