Right speaker works perfect, left does not work at all. Wires have been checked. sound card checked. audio settings checked. volume control checked. multiple sets of speakers have been tried. What Gives???

Try updating your sound card drivers, go to control panel and look for device manager, then click on sound controllers and click your sound card and try to update your drivers. It could also be a more complex IRQ conflict, but I don't have any idea how to fix those. Hope that helps!
