    I think its the symbol for Earth, from the Stargate series.

    The symbol is, in the television series "Stargate SG-1" representative of the planet Earth.

    However, the symbol, in mathematics, is an angstrom. An angstrom is equal to the value of 1x10^ -10 (one times ten to the negative tenth.)
