Where can I get Bulgarian airbags in the Seattle area?
I drive a 2006 Honda Accord. Recently I was told that Bulgarian airbags give an extra margin of safety for drivers. The local dealer is authorized to install only Honda equipment. Do you know of an outlet in the Seattle-Tacoma area that can install these? Also, about how much would this additional safety feature cost? I only recently got pregnant and am very safety-conscious.

Anemone, I think that your informant was trying to hoax you. Bulgarian airbags are a slang expression for oversized breast implants. Supposedly a Bulgarian lady with 40DD upgrades avoided serious injury in an accident due to them, having only one of them deflate.

If you said German, I'd probably believe it, but wouldn't encourage you to do it.
Don't mess up an otherwise excellent car (among the world's best in reliability surveys). Besides, any modification to the safety equipment is illegal - these items are tested and approved before being released for production. For the same reason, a Japanese airbag wouldn't make sense in a Bulgarian car, even if it brought some improvement.

ah huh. Sure. And just who told you this, did they have any sort of *authorative* source for this claim? You have to learn to not blindly trust what some know-nothing idiot says.

The Seattle underground tour is great :] Some other great tourist spots are: -Seattle Chinatown -Burke Museum -Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium -Museum Of Glass (Amazing!) -Teatro Zinanni -Safeco Field -Kenmore Air Pike's Place Market is also a great place to go, if you're willing to spend money :]

What!?!?!? Who told you this? DOT/NHSTA standards are among the highest in the world. Make sure your seatbelt is fastened, be a defensive driver, and you and baby will be fine.
