How much weight can I lose drinking 3 protein shakes a day?

NO I'm not some anorexic little girl, I pride myself on being a sensible weight, but I've got an important function to attend next week and I just want to look really fabulous in the dress I've bought for it. A trainer at my local gym said as an extreme I could drink 3 protein shakes a day for 7 days, make sure I take multi-vitamins and its basically like doing the cambridge diet. I immediately dismissed it, I don't buy into faddy diets but I've since started to consider doing it if its only for 7 days. Has anyone tried anything like this? I don't want it to make me unwell but if i could lose half a stone I'd be super happy, What did anybody end up losing? Sensible answers please, I'm not an idiot, I'm just genuinely asking. Thanks! :)

    protien shakes should be used alongside training and you will find you may actually get slimmer but put wieght on as muscle is heavier than fat. protein shakes wont hurt but you could fill yourself with too many vitamins taking multi vitamins, which could make you feel ill if not taken responsibly. i lost half a stone in a week by eating breakfast lunch and dinner (no snacks) and cycling 10miles a day. i went from 8st 7lb to 8st in 7 days. good luck (oh and drinking plenty of water too, as it natural and fills you up)

    There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

    1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

    2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

    3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

    These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

    Protein need to lose weight and to repair muscle after working out. When muscles repair themselves, they grow. But that depends on the type of exercise.
