I need to do a presentation about this so I want to make sure I get this right. I already have an idea in my head, but I want to see how others interpret this.
The whole concept of inflation is pretty confusing to me, so if you could, explain about that please :)
any input is much appreciated =)

inflation is a dual use word. Just think of costs of items as a balloon. The more inflation the bigger it gets and then eventually it pops. So think of the cost of a fixed good inflated by monetary inflation. Eventually the good becomes too expensive or unquantifiable by the currency. The best thing is to researh hyperinflation of the 1920s germany or Zimbabwe of 2008.
