Recovery tank hose mounting location for Ford truck?

I have a 1995 Ford F-150 truck with a 4.9 liter engine. I don't know where the recovery tank hose mounts on the radiator. I bought a radiator for the truck but the radiator has 2 possible locations to mount the recovery tank hose at. The first location is at the same level as the radiator cap and the second location is lower down on the radiator neck. What is the correct location ? What is the second location for ? Thank you for any help. I just got this truck in not operating location and want to start using it some .

Update:

I got the truck without a radiator. Both spigots are open and I have only one hose to hook up. I got the radiator from Genisis on line.

Ford cars and trucks have one of two coolant recovery tank *intake hose locations. If the old and new radiator had a male fitting just under the radiator cap, the hose to the coolant recovery tank plugs in there. I wish I knew the brand of the new radiator as I'd like to actually see the second lower location for another hose.

In any event pick the same location as your old radiator. Are both fittings open? If so one has to be blocked off or tour cooling system will leak coolant!

Newer Fords have coolant recovery tanks with the pressure cap on-top of the white plastic recovery tank. There's no pressure cap on the radiator at all!

the local auto parts store, at the worst you will have to go to a dealer. If you are lucky and have a salvage yard close by you might be able to get a used one
