Replace fuel filter 1991 Toyota Corolla?
I have a 1991 Corolla that runs but sometimes on the highway the engine will momentarily appear to sputter or cut out , the continues to run . The ignition parts all appear to be working and the wires are within spec. when checked for resistance .The spark plugs are good and fire . I think it needs a fuel filter replaced . The filter is low on firewall and is very hard to get to . Is there a easy way to get to the fuel filter ? I have never had a car that had the fuel filter located at such a difficult location to replace . But I had a lot of older VW diesels and those are simple .
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs5 years agoHonda Civic with front end problem?
I bought a 1993 Honda Civic cheap a couple months ago when my car got stolen . The car runs well and goes down the road fairly decent. I just got a flat in a front tire . I noticed the tire wore through the tread on the inside part of the tire while the tread on the outside is like new . The other front tire is wearing the same way . When I had the car jacked up I noticed the front wheel has a wiggle when pushed/pulled a little . Do I need to replace the wheel bearings and/or I get the front end of the car checked at a shop ? Does the car need an alignment ?

1 AnswerGoogle8 years agoRemove door window crank?
I am having a problem with the door window on a friends 1991 Toyota Corolla not rolling all the way up. At the very last bit of movement, about 1/8"-1/4", the window stops and the hand crank starts to slipping. The handle turns and it looks like the part the handle is attached to turns but the window doesn't close all the way. How do I get the handle off and how do I fix so the win dow closes all the way ? Thank you. I am fine working on brakes and engines just I am not used to working on car body parts and such. I don't want to break something caused more to repair.
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoA New Years dare with crossdressing?
My girlfriend is daring me to dress up as a female at New Years. My eyebrows are a bit to thick as they are now. Would it be better for me to have them waxed or have them shaved into a thinner shape ? A local makeup lady said she would shave them into shape and they would grow back sooner. How long before they would look normal ?
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agoInstall vtech engine in regular Civic DX 1.5 liter engine?
I have a 1994 Honda Dx with a manual transmission that has over 200,ooo miles. I may be needed a different engine sometime in a year or so and I have seen 1.5 liter vtech engines from Japan cheap. Could I install a 1.5 vtech the same as a regular 1.5 engine or do I need any other electonic componets to have the vtech work correctly ? Could a vtech 1.5 liter engine get better gas mileage than my regular 1.5 liter ? My car gets really good gas mileage now but just thinking the vtech may do real good as long as a driver doesn't rev the engine out. I am just thinking about the fact that my engine is getting old and may not pass smog this year where I live in California.
3 AnswersHonda9 years agoToyota Corolla won't start?
My 1991 Corolla with an automatic transmission starts some of the time and sometimes it doesn't start. It has been doing this for over a year and a half. I check the battery and it is fine with 12.5 volts. I turn the key and the starter will click like it should, just won't turn over. If it was a bad starter wouldn't the starter stop responding at all within a couple of days ? Could this be the automatic transmission neutral switch acting up ? How could I check the switch ? Any other ideas I haven't thought of would be appreciated. Thank you for any help. I need to figure out why the car continues to act up but then start. I need to make sure this car will start when I go to work.
5 AnswersToyota9 years agoUsed hard drive in Dell moved to HP?
I have 2 used computers that need some work. The Dell Dimension 8400 has a fairly new hard drive installed but the motherboard has died. The HP a320n works sometimes but the hard drive is on its last legs. I know both systems use SATA hard drives and are running windows XP. I was wondering if it would be possible to move the hard drive from the Dell into the HP. Is is possible ? What would have to be done to get this to work ?

4 AnswersProgramming & Design9 years agoDell Dimension 8400 won't turn on?
I just did a fresh re-install of my Dell Dimension 8400 last night. The computer ran good. I figured it was late and I needed some sleep, so I turned the computer off. This morning I went to turn the computer on. When I pushed the power button and nothing. No lights, sounds or anything. The surge Protector was on and I checked a few other things but I can't figure what went wrong. Are there any tests a person can do at home to diagnose this computer ?
4 AnswersDesktops10 years agoHonda Civic starter won't turn over?
The starter in my 1994 Civic DX with a 1.5 liter engine doesn't get any voltage from the ignition switch. I checked the ignition switch and there is no voltage even getting to the switch. My cars electric system has been taped up by a previous owner so I can't track the wires very well. what wire brings the electric voltage to the switch ? Does this wire come straight from the BATTERY to the switch ? Thank you for any help. I bought a manual for the car but the Haynes manual doesn't show what wire brings the power into the switch, very vague wiring diagram.
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years ago1994 Honda Civic is an erratic starter?
About 6 months ago my Civic wouldn't start some of the time. I found the clutch switch that is wired with the starter was out of adjustment. I adjusted the switch and all was well and the car started starting reliably. This week the car is back to starting some of the time with the key and some of the time I need to push start the car. I checked the wire from the igniton to the starter with a volt meter. When my friend turns the key there is nothing until run the positive wire for the volt meter on the ignition wire on the starter and ground the other volt meter wire. When I use the volt meter check the car starts every time. What can I do to fix the car to start reliably as it should without the voltmeter trick ?
