I need to replace the left side mirror on my 1993 Honda Civic?

The car is a LX model with power mirrors but the local junkyard doesn't have any power mirrors Is it possible to install a normal mirror, mirror that adjusts manually , in place of the power mirror until I can find the correct item ? I need to drive the car but won't until I can get a mirror .

I went to a different junkyard in a different town and tried a few used power mirrors . I used the mirrors the junkyard told me would work . None of them would bolt in to the place of the old mirror. I found a different mirror , not a power mirror , and it bolted right in position . I was to impatient to wait for a mail order item > I want to use the new to me car.

Try to check online at Carid. They do carry a lot of replacement parts, from Replace, Dorman, TYC, etc. I'm sure you will be able to find the correct one for you.

When I needed a new mirror for my 2004 Focus, I found one online for under $40.

I found one for a 1993 Civic under the Kool-Vue brand in less than one minute for $39.00 on the internet.
