Windows Vista can't connect to the Internet?

So I have another PC, and it has Windows Vista on it. It previously had Ubuntu 9.10 and it could connect to the internet fine. But now I installed Vista on it, and it can't connect. The ethernet cable is plugged in at both ends (PC and router). HELP

You just installed a new OS, so now you need to install the drivers for all of your hardware. Download the drivers from the pc or ethernet card manufacturer's website and install it. Afterwards, it should work fine.

Obviously you need to program your new computer following the instructions for the Vista program. So that will operate properly. Read the manual. Good luck.
