My friend is currently holding a student visa in London, Can she apply for working visa at the same time?

    No, the student visa already authorizes to work. Student visa are in general endorsed with the code "SPX" which stands for: No recourse to public funds. Work/Business allowed as in Tier 4 Rules.

    At present Tier 4 students can work up to 20 hours per week during term and full time during vacations.
