What does it mean to have your hair thinned out at the salon?

it just means that they layer it in such a fashion that your hair will seem thinner. it makes your hair lighter and easier to deal with. I thin my hair often. You can have it cut anyway you want, and still have it thinned. and no one will be able to tell the difference. But your head will thank you. people who have thick hair usually have often headaches or neck/shoulders/back pain. this also helps (:

Getting ur hair thinned out means your stylist takes a small brush that some women use to trim their eyebrows then your hair would be thinner but it does not make it any better....... Most stylists don't recommend thinning out your hair it will ruin your hair and it is definitely a mistake don't do it I know people who have worst mistake of their lives hope this helps

i hvae my hair thinned out at a salond because i have thick hair so the use a speacial type of scissors and then just thin it out really. i dont know how to explain it, sorry, but it just makes your hair thnner for a bit:)

Well the way it seems when you get it done is that the stylist is taking and gapping your whole head, but there not at all. just thining it.
