And the caption on the picture says "stop raising your hand alligator! you don't know the answers to my questions..you're an alligator"..i know it sound dumb..but I want to find it again. I would look in the 1st place I saw it..but it isn't there anymore

  • I have a weird pain in my back/hip..What is it?

So, every once in a while at work I will get this weird/sharp pain in my lower back/hip. The pain the travel down my leg to my knee cap. And, this might sound weird (it's the only way I can describe it) but when the pain travels down my leg, it feels like fluid or something is draining into my kneecap. Like I said that is the best way to describe the feeling. Once the pain gets to my knee my knee gives out for a second. I have injured that knee twice...but it was the knee itself, not my hip or anything. I think pinched nerve, but I would like to here what you guys think and what you did if you had the same problem

  • What can I do to get rid of mice at work?

I work in a restaurant/bar/club. I am a cook there so that means I am constantly in and out of the walk-in cooler. Which also means I have the pleasure of almost peeing myself every night I work because we have mice in the cooler. Now, before you go calling the health department let me tell you that all of the food is kept in plastic containers with lids. We can't use the sticky traps because of the chemicals, and we can't use the snap traps because..well, for obvious reasons. We have these little metal box traps that I think might be the catch and release ones, but the mice aren't going in them. What can I put in the cooler to drive the mice away, while making sure the food isn't harmed

  • How can we get the swelling down?

My grandpa was recently diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. He has a mass on his back pushing against his spine. As a result, he can't walk..at all. The most he can move his legs on his own is slightly lifting them up. Now, his feet and lower leg are swollen to 3x the original size. We are pretty sure it's because he isn't walking. So, my question: Is there anything we can do to help the circulation in his legs and get the swelling down? I brought over my water foot massager but I doubt it will fix the problem by itself. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have lived at this address for the past 2 years or so. I am constantly getting mail for other people! Sometimes it's just junk, but there are the occasion's that it's a letter from an actual person. Once there was a small package! How do I make this stop? Writing 'No longer living here" on the envelopes and sending them back isn't working. What can I do?

  • Know any good/easy recipes?

I'm looking for some new recipes to make for dinner. Mostly we have pork-chops, and I can't think of anything new to do with them. I've marinated them, seasoned them..I can't think of anything new to do! I want something that is easy to make, but also tastes good. Also, if it is on the cheap side that would be great! No onions or peppers please!

  • Does this dream mean anything?

Lately I have been have a reoccurring dream. I am back in high school, usually in a math or science class. And, a teacher tells me that if I don't pass the class, I won't graduate. But, as I am studying for the class, I realize/remember that I did in fact graduate high school, and I leave the school.

Now, in real life, I did graduate high school, and I was never in jeopardy of not graduating.

What does this dream mean? Every time it's the same, and every time I realize that I already graduated high school.

  • What is a good way to lose weight?

I want to shed a little weight..maybe 20 pounds, but, it is more complicated then going outside and running. I babysit from 7am to 3pm. I can't go outside becaus the temp. around here is getting to the 40's. I have a Wii Fit but it got boring doing the same stuff over and over again. What would be a workout..indoors..with a 1 year old around..and that won't shrink my breast size?? I like them the way they are and I don't want them to shrink! What are good workouts that would help me avoid this?

  • Why isn't she interested in eating?

Monday through Friday I watch my (technically second cousin but I consider her my neice) neice from about 7am to about 3pm. When she gets here we both usually end up falling back to sleep on the couch until about 9-ish. After we get up, I changer her diaper, and change her out of her jammies. Now, since she is with me for a good chunk of the day, I feed her 2 meals, or a late breakfast and a snack. Usually I just put the food in a bowl because we are trying to get her to feed her self.( Gold fish crackers, cut up pancakes etc.).

But, for the past few days I havenoticed that she doesn't want to eat much. I heated up a left-over hamburger and cut it up for her..she ate a few bites of it..then proceeded to cough it up because I forgot that hamburgers get hard when they are re-heated. So I tossed it out. Then, I heated up some mashed potatos. She took 2 bites and that was it. Then, I made her a pancake. I cut it up and put it in her bowl. She ate a few bites, then just sorta left it there.

When my aunt comes to get her in the afternoon, I tell her how much/what she ate. Then the next day (if the baby hasn't eaten much) she tells me that Layla ate a lot more then usual that night.

Why is it that sometimes, Layla just doesn't seem interested in eating? She just turned one if it matters.

    sorry so long

  • Did she legally abandon her child?

OK quick background...My cousin had a baby. She doesn't take care of her my Aunt and her little sister do. Recently she flew out to colorado to see a friend. She 'conveniently' missed her flight home. She has told my sister through text messages that she isn't coming back. She has called a grandmother and asked her to send her money so that she and the friend she went out to see can get and apartment. She has been gone for about 2 weeks.

In Ohio, did she legally abandon her baby? If someone called CPS would she get in trouble? She hasn't said to, but we all know she doesn't want the baby, and her mother is willing to take care of the baby. She leaves the baby at home with her mother and goes out and parties. I just want to know how long she has to be gone for it to be abandonment. The father is not in the child's life. And if it matters the babies mother is only 18.

  • Am I reading too much into this?

My husband and I have been married for about 10 months. Recently something he is doing is bugging me.

This week the fair is in town. I drop little hints here and there about how I would like to go. (Hey, a lemon shake-up sounds good is what I usually say) He knows I want to go, but every time he says no and that we can't really afford to go this year. Ok fine. No money no fair. But, recently we ran into one of his old friends from high school. She is staying about 45 minutes away from where we live, but told us she is willing to make the drive to hang out. She mentioned something about going to the fair, and his reply was. Sure! whenever you want to go, give us a call and we will all go. Now just 2 days before is when I was told that we couldn't afford it!! He does this a lot! If I say hey let's do this. He doesn't want to . But, as soon as a friend suggests the same activity, he jumps at the oppurtunity. It isn't to get time away from me because he always replies with WE would love to go.

I don't get why he does this. Does it sound boring when I suggest it?

He has done this before and I called him out on it and told him it made me feel ignored and boring. He said sorry and hasn't done it since...until now. It really hurts that when I suggest something it's "No, I don't really want to,". But, as soon as someone else mentions it it's, "Sure! That sounds like fun!,".

Am I overreacting? It really hurts when he does this.

  • Did any one else think that these were the lyrics?

In the song When I Grow Up by PCD I though for the longest time that a part of the song went 'when i grow up, i wanna be famous i wanna be a star i wanna be in movies, when i grow up i wanna see the world drive nice cars, i wanna have BOOBIES'. I figured that was the word they used cuz it is talking about when they were younger and what they wanted when they grew up! But I looked and it is GROUPIES...not what i thought!!!

    so...did anyone else think that??

what was a song that you thought you knew the lyrics to, but it turned out that you were way off?
