Obama's writing laws..........?

The Constitution requires the legislative branch to write our laws, not the President!

Obama is sidestepping the legislative process (and the Constitution) and says he has his own Health Care bill .....and that raises some serious constitutional concerns.

They need to stop a "reconciliation" on "Obama's bill" and start over on Health Care. Give us a plan that's effective, affordable, and Constitutional. Don't you think?

Update:

20/20 Exactly. The president signs it----he does not add to it or write it. Period.

Update 2:

Blaze. I have the Constitution in front of me right now. You ought to read it sometime.

He trained ACORN org and people don't get much more corrupted than them! Obama is a expert on bribery as well.

What are you complaining about? Bush did it all the time. As a matter of fact, Bush also had over 800 signing statements that he didn't have to obey the law.

    Where was your concern then?

No I don't think. We have a bill. and it is passed. To start over is foolish., You think any bought Republican will ever vote for it?

Obama doesn't write laws. Congress does.

The President can offer suggested language for legislation. Congress can choose to simply ignore his suggestions.

The current bill is mostly as big of a cock-up as it is because of attempts to gain Republican support, which was clearly a waste of time. Those give-aways can be fixed in the reconciliation process. There's no reason to start over.

You should stop talking about the Constitution. You don't seem to understand what it says.

Obama is just proposing legislation. It won't have the force of law unless it's adopted and passed by Congress and then signed by the President. I oppose Obamacare, but his proposing certain language is not a violation of the Constitution.

I'm not an Obama supporter, but he isn't writing laws. No one can write a law! He can write a bill and it can be voted on to become a law. So can other representative that are voted into office.

I seem to remember our last President Bush wrote plenty of laws, no crying about that. Starting and stopping is what has gotten us into this mess in the first place, trying to please everyone. Let there be a public option and let all states decide in or out !

Obama is not writing the law. He oversees what the congress is doing and the congress votes and passes legislation. It's not that hard to understand.

I agree. And they do need to start over.
