Is this a good deal or no?
I am being offered the following:
1 PS3 with a 40GB drive and necessary cables
1 SixAxis controller
2 games
All of this at $260+$15 shipping
While the games were not ones I planned on buying, since I had no clue what good games exist for the PS3, I did select these two games out due to reading their descriptions on Wikipedia.
I am planning to replace the drive with a 500GB at a cost of $105. The 40GB is fairly useless to me unless during testing and waiting for the new drive.

No. I got a PS3 250GB with one sixaxis controller and Little Big Planet for $299.99 plus tax at Best Buy. I also bought the 4 yr extended warranty for an extra $50 or so. I'm sure you can find a better deal, ESPECIALLY if your offer is for a used console and 2 generic games. I'd keep looking.

This depends on what game you are getting. If they are games you were going to buy anyways then this would be a reasonable offer.
If you weren't going to buy those games, then NO, go out and buy a brand new PS3 for $25 more and it will be 120GB hard drive, which you will need

Not bad, thats what it would cost me in £
That'd be twice as much as your paying (£260/ $520)
