    Some people spell the color out, others use # followed by three or six numbers. Which method is the best for high efficiency.

  • Can two different RAM DIMM's have different timings and work in one unit?

    I have a computer that uses DDR 400 ram at a specific timing and has 3 sticks of 1GB each. I want to upgrade this to 4GB by adding another stick. I have looked around but can not purchase any DIMM's that have the exact same timing. I have however found some DIMM's that have a higher rating and was hoping I could use them with my existing DIMM's with a little slowdown on the faster module naturally. Would this work?
