Will Al Gore ever accept Lord Christopher Monckton's challenge to have a debate about global warming with him?

Al Gore has insulated himself with body guards and personal assistants from anyone who might be able to pull the Sheep skin off his wolf body. So I wouldn't hold my breath on getting that debate going. If it does happen it will be with Gores rules which would make it completely skewed in his favor. But Monckton would still win so Gore will decline if he knows what is good for him.

Monckton focuses on particular aspects of the science to win debates. When he debates scientists he focuses on aspects that aren't the speciality. Being scientists they are usually unwilling to discuss these aspects (as they leave that up to the experts). If he was honest he won't debate the speciality of the scientist with them ... but avoids this at all cost. In Australia he should debate Dr Karl. Dr Karl is a public scientists willing to debate and argue matters that fall outside the realm of his speciality. He is a well read person. Also to argue someone like Monckton (who is a good public speaker) you need to get a scientists with a personality (who is also a good public speaker) - Dr Karl would give him a good run for his money!

I hope so, Monckton would sweep the floor with Gore! Absolutely humiliate him.
Gore doesn't have the kahonies.

Actually, the 'truth' is, it certainly was NOT a pleasure. It was unnerving and very concerning. I've heard many stories about the impact of global warming and climate change, but haven't really grasped the magnitude of the looming catastrophe until now.
Mr. Gore presents a plethora of compelling scientific evidence which clearly concludes that global warming is real and deadly on so many levels. Every American, every European, every Asian, every African, every Australian, EVERYONE should see this film. Global warming affects everyone, and in so many ways. Last year (2005) was the warmest on record, and it's no coincidence that 2005 was also the most catastrophic, flanked by the tsunami in southeast Asia and hurricane Katrina out of the Gulf of Mexico.
As I was watching the documentary, there was one thing that sickened me the most - knowing that the one person who needs to get this message the most, arrogantly refuses to watch it. Yes, when President Bush was asked whether or not he would see Gore's film, his response was "Doubt it". He further went on to clarify...
"...in my judgment we need to set aside whether or not greenhouse gases have been caused by mankind or because of natural effects..."

If I were Al Gore I wouldn't. Think about it, he has already made a ton and is well liked and popular, why screw it up.

I saw John Bolton and I stopped watching. I don't know much about Monckton, but his credibility is in question just by being in such proximity with Bolton and Beck.

I have no idea who that is.
Also, there is no need for there to be a debate. A reasoned look at the evidence should be proof enough to you. If its not, then there's really nothing that can be done to convince you.

That's like asking George Bush to debate anyone about his reason for going to war with Iraq. Of course he won't.
