Is there a way to restrict or limit printing on a HP laser jet P1505n printer?

I manage a senior housing community with 45 units. last year we added a computer room with 2 new computers and a printer for the residents to use. We asked that they keep printing to a reasonable level. It has come to my attention that someone is taking advantage and printing very large files and bringing in there own paper. they are using way to much toner cartridge. Is there a way to set the printer to limit there printing to like 3 or 5 pages??.

There are two main options in my opninion, not really involving the printer.

One: Find out the abuser. Ban them.

Two: Implement user names and passwords, Hire a programmer to build an application that runs on print credits, like schools do.

G'day. I run a Lexmark 3/1. Try and find your manual for the printer. On mine in the troubleshoot section you have the option of printing small-Medium- or Large print. Regardless of the font the PC sends from Word.
