It always has, after every economic downturn.

Besides 90% of the population still has jobs and really when the baby boomers start to retire, by 2020 there will be such a labor shortage you will not believe it.

No, not without some very fundamental changes in the way the state is run. For 20+ years California has been driving productive tax paying citizens out of the state and they've been replaced by poorly educated, poorly skilled consumers of public resources. The higher taxes are increased the faster the productive people leave.

    NO!

California has been living irresponsibly high on the hog for decades. California's public employees, hundreds of thousands of them earn almost twice what those in private prositions earn.

Every time some Californian gets a new hair up his rear they add a tax and go for it.

Indistry tired of all the social programs, high taxes, high wages and costly impossible regulations so it picked up and moved on. Thank your public employee unions and a legislature which never says no to a new fee, rule or tax.

The good life, in California, is history.

Oceanfront view anyone? It's getting cheaper.

I have nothing against the US but after taking some very enlightening College Econ Classes I suggest people stop saying US is number one because at the rate China is growing looks like we might fall into the number 2 spot or worser as far as economically so don't put your foot in your mouth if you think about saying this But to your question California will get better but little at a time it's hard to say when or around about because one thing can change and take time into a whole other course as far as jobs this economic mess were in probably got uneducated employers shook I'm just being honest. I suggest getting a good college econ professor and ask them there opinion too. I'm probably going to get a bunch of thumbs down for this but it's something were going to have to take into consideration and only the strong minded can handle it

Source(s): College Classes and a strong thank you to my professor Prof.Keep

No read Victor Hanson's " Mexifornia, A State of Becoming" to see how California will never really ever be the same.

When they lower the cost of living. I lived in the bay area for many years and now reside in Houston Texas. It's amazing how much money I have saved since.
