Ladies, can you help a male with dry, cracked feet?

I was in Wal Mart yesterday looking for a ultra-moisturizing foot lotion and some ideas to soften my dry, cracked feet. I was looking in the Dr. Scholl's section where I noticed everything seemed to say "Dr. Scholl's For Her" on product package. Is there no foot care for men by Dr.Scholls? If not, is the Dr. Scholl's For Women used by guys too? What items would I need to help my cracked feet that has rough skin on bottom of foot and flaky ankles, etc.

What honestly works the best, soak your feet in warm (hot) water, use a foot scrub with sugar or something rough in it, then use a pumice stone on the super rough spots, then put a whole bunch of moisturizing lotion (foot lotion or hand lotion), then put on a pair of socks. This works wonders if you do it over night. And trust me your feet cant be worse than my cousins and hers cleared up in about two or three days. There were still cracks but not that bad and they eventually went away. But make sure you DO NOT over scrub your rough areas with the pumice, it will make your feet hurt like hell.

I have one of those pedi-egg things that you can get at walmart or just about anywhere. It is a great file for the feet (unless your feet hurt due to them being cracked). It takes off thick calluses pretty quick. I then use a file that nail salons use to smooth out my feet. You can then put lotion on frequently after you remove the calluses. In the summer it is harder to keep feet soft because it is flip flop weather. You could put lotion on and then put socks on every night also. As far as lotion goes...you can try vaseline or any lotion for severely dry, cracking skin (ultra healing). A brand that I LOVE is anything made by Aveeno. I use the face cream and LOVE it. I have used the lotion which has oatmeal in it to calm irritated skin; however I don't need the Aveeno body lotion (due to it being a little pricey) so I just use something cheaper.

If possible..... get a loofa and IN THE SHOWER exfoliate your ankles and top of feet. Then get a pumice stone and pumice the bottom of you feet. Then get a deep moisturizer, like Jergens Ultra Healing(or lotion of choice) and AFTER THE SHOWER rub it in DEEP, also in the MORNING and NIGHT, and hopefully within a week or so your feet will look better and feel smoother depending on the severity. ALSO you could try putting on socks at night right after moisturizing or buying a foot scrub with pumice already in it which does the same thing.

There is a great lotion at Rite-Aid (probably any drugstore) called Amlactin. It comes in a tube and altho it looks too light to do any good, I have noticed a big difference in my feet in less than a week! I apply several times a day and twice as much at bedtime, waiting between applications. My ankle had gotten so rough from sleeping on one side, that I thought I'd have to go to my dermatologist. This saved me a doctor's visit and the price was right, too!

    Heel Tastic Intensive Heel Therapy

My mom used this and it worked great. Her feet were, for lack of a better word, disgusting. When walking across carpet, you could hear her feet snag the carpet. It makes me sick thinking about it. She used lotions, moisturizers; pretty much anything she could get her hands on. And this is the only thing she's used and has seen drastic results with. You put it on like one would put on deodorant. She puts it on every night after she takes a shower when her skin is still soft. I personally think it smells awful. But, hey, it works :) Anyway, I believe it's for both men and women. And for her, she seen results in about a week or two.

    Hope this helps!
