how long are unresolved questions kept on the system?
Questions still up for voting after 3 years on video and online games 377000 + questions to be voted on to send them to resolved.
If they are still in voting after a year , then i think a purge should be mandatory . at 377000 votes undecided it would take 1 person 3770 days to vote for them all (ten years) it would take 10 people 1 year . Obviously votes aren't happening in that category (perhaps others as well).
Does anyone else agree a purge after 1 year for unresolved questions would be acceptable

Yahoo Answers are not limited by memory constrains, there is room for an unlimited number of questions in the 'database', so no purge is necessary.
