about NXT, was some of the things said on the show a shoot?

for example when bryan danielson showed how much he hated being paired with the miz and saying he would rather be paired with william regal and in the interview after with matt striker and bryan said i have been in this buisness twice as long as miz and matt striker shoots him down and says "it dont mean a damn thing miz is a pro show a little bit of respect" or something like that.

also with jerichos guy he did this long introduction of how great he is and jericho told him to just get on with it.

what did you think of NXT was it a shoot or just very well acted?

Update:

btw Michael cole was brilliant last night, he really pissed me off as this heel commentator and did a perfect job, the way he slated bryan danielson and said he was nothing pissed me off, it was good stuff cant wait till next week to watch.

Update 2:

bryan danielson wrestled in fron of thouands in a japanese crowd though so i disagree with he hasnt wrestled infront of a bigger audience before because the guy wrestled at pro wrestling noah.

I think it's mostly script. I mean, these guys ARE truly trying to learn to have more presence and be more appealing in front of a house full of WWE fans. But the rest of it, including the things you mentioned, are scripted.

I think the WWE is doing this on purpose, though. They're basically acknowledging the power of the IWC. The Miz comes out and talks about Daniel Bryan being the "darling of the blogs" first thing, then both he and Michael Cole (WTF?) rip on the IWC. It's an intentional blurring of the lines. Jericho wasn't annoyed by his rookie, but he acted that way to stay in-character while blurring the lines a little bit between kayfabe and reality. To "smart" fans like us, that made it look like Jericho was trying to teach the kid to make his point and quit boring the fans on the mic.

It's really phenomenal the way WWE is acknowledging the criticism of the IWC lately, and NXT takes that acknowledgment to a whole new level.

Really I think it's a shoot and a script. Think about it, these are guys that are from independent circuit. They are lucky if they reached an audience capacity over a 1,000. These are guys not use to a 5,000+ audience with millions watching on national television. While they have some acting because they are wrestlers, they don't have the stage-presence and mic-skill of the pros.

While they do have a script to follow, they are learning how to actually perform on a pro-level.

    Its all a act.

Just like Raw and everything else wrestling related-they have to add controversy to everything.

It's all an act to get your attention and guess what it worked.
