Arizona Mills Carnival?

I notice a small carnival in the parking lot of Arizona Mills today. Has anyone been?? If so, who is running it and can you get wristbands or just single ride tickets? Thx!

Wow. You have accidentally stumbled upon an American cultural icon. This information was given to me by a carny I picked up from the Arizona State Fair in my taxi several years ago. The carnies and their ride machines follow a circuit beginning in the spring and running through late fall. They go from town to town throughout the west setting up at State Fairs and County Fairs. You've seen them around. During the winter time, the carnies come to Arizona. And instead of just storing their equipment, often times they will contract with the owners of strip malls or large parking lots to set up a small entertainment venue there. It benefits the carnies because they do not have to store their equipment, and they can make a little money. It benefits the shopping mall owner since store traffic is up, and the carnies do pay them. In late spring, they will all be gone off touring the west. But they will be back next winter.

You'll have to ask them about tickets and pricing. And if you want a real interesting summer job... (Just don't tell your old man you ran off with the carnival)
