Is a knife with a two-dimensional blade width able to slice anything in three dimensions?

A two-dimensional blade width would be infinitely thin. I mean that if you laid the knife on a surface it would look like an ordinary knife but if you pointed the tip toward yourself, the blade would disappear as its two dimensional.

It wouldnt cut anything. The reason is that 2d is just a simply picture on paper. nothing in the world is really 2d. You would have to have mass in order for it to be able to cut and 2d doesnt have mass. if you catch my drift
