Question

A sibling would be the only chance of a bone marrow donor for Liberty. Did she forget that Liberty and Jacob are half-siblings? That just sounded really weird to and is no reason to have another kid unless there is some reason why Jacob can't be tested to see if he is a donor and I missed it.

Jacob is a half-sibling and he was tested.  Katie took him to the hospital for the test.  Jack mentioned it once, I think too.  But since he was not a match, there is not a 100% chance that if Janet and Jack had a baby, he/she would be a match either, since that would also be a half-sibling.  I understand her wanting to help save Liberty, but I don't think she and Jack should have a child together just for that reason, especially with the way their marriage has been lately.

Reid convinced Katie to have Jacob tested- he wasn't a match.

Janet is convinced that if she and Jack had a baby then that baby would be closer because he/shhe would be a half sibling and a 1st cousin.

As others have said, Jacob wasn't a match. What is baffling me is that Brad was a Snyder and there are gazillions of them: Emma, Holden, Seth, Meg, Eliza, Caleb, Aaron, Jack, Sage, Faith, Natalie, Ethan, Josh, Ellie, Abigail and probably dozens more offspring. I wish they would mention the fact that they have exhausted the entire Snyder family tree.
