attention grabber advice!?

I am giving a speech on my family's money struggles and how we went to having everything to having almost nothing, i need ideas for a attention grabber, help!!

My intro will then talk about how great life was and then proceed to why it went away and end with how it has made me a better person

any help?

    Toss chocolate coins into the audience

    Give the speech wearing nothing but a barrel and suspenders

    If you're using PowerPoint, insert dramatic before-and-after pictures
