Please read the poem i wrote! Its a true story too...?

"MEMORIES THAT JUST WON'T FADE"

Once upon a time there was Us.

Our relationship was amazing and I felt so blessed,

for me to be yours and for you to be mine.

I never saw not one bad sign,

that would make me believe that we wouldn't work out,

I didn't have even a little bit of self doubt.

Low and Behold a storm came between you and I.

SOme nights i couldn't help but lay here and cry

because my world had suddenly been taken from me,

and there was nothing i could do to make them think differently.

I knew that they were just trying to protect you,

but all the while they were hurting me too.

I wanted to make things right so i could atleast sleep most nights.

They wouldn't listen no matter how hard I would try,

and all i could hope was that your love for me wouldn't die.

I wasn't sure how you felt or what was going thru your mind,

I just had this feeling like i was being left behind.

It made me angry and sometimes sad.

I never knew that things could get this bad.

Memories of you come up everyday

and when they do i wish they'd just go away,

because the memory of you hurts to think of

when I look back and remember that night we fell in love.

Oh, how i wish i could live that night once more

and experience the feeling I had never felt before,

but all that's left now are the memories that we made

which are the memories that just won't fade.
