How to pick the right Pharmacy School and correct prerequisites?

i am a senior in high school and am hoping to go for the PharmD degree, but i am having a tough time finding the right school. Can someone explain the prerequisite courses and how long it can take? i heard some schools dont require the prerequisite courses, are there really any?

    You'll be basically going pre-med. You'll need a strong science background. It would be best to major in Chemistry or Biology, but make sure you have a mix of both. You'll have to go though at least Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, no matter what you're doing.

    Some schools have dual degrees within their school or partnered wit others, where you get your undergrad and then go straight to "grad" school to get your PharmD.

    The PharmD program requires pre-reqs, but if you have a degree in Chem or Bio, you'll more than likely already have all the courses you need to get in.
