Laptop sound is not working and as of now, nothing is fixing it!?
I have an HP laptop with Windows 7 and for some reason my sound has stopped working. It worked fine when I plugged an HDMI cable in and the sound was going through the laptop and then the tv, then I unplugged it and it stopped. I tried going into the sound menu but it freezes half the time?
Also when I go into the menu where it shows my sound card, under volume mixer.. it says currently unavailable and when I do anything in that menu, it always freezes!?
I need a fix asap, if you have a solution please answer and I'll give you 10pts on this question and more!!!

I think you should try system restore, it will roll back any recent changes that were made.
