Do you think government is a tool to protect little fish from big fish or?

a tool big fish use to manipulate the little fish?

Update:

I'm definitely with the latter. It's stated purpose is the former, but I think its naive to believe that government officials are not self interested, and that special interests can't offer them more than a disinterested public.

Well it was founded as a constitutional republic with strict limits on what the federal government can do to protect the individual rights of everybody, it has since evolved into a tool used by bankers and investors to protect their monopolies and con others.

No, it is my thought that "government" has become an entity in itself, "pimping" the Little Fish in order to steal from the Big Fish. The Big Fish don't need protection from any except the "government" itself. Meanwhile, the "government" (read: "The New Mob") serves only itself like a huge bloated tick on the throats of each of us, growing ever-larger until there's nothing left but the Tick. At some point in time. with nothing left on which to feed, it will self-destruct & if there's anything left at all, we will have to start over again, hopefully having learned something in the process.

Yes, protecting the big fish from the little fish is the unofficial function of congress, the FDA, EPA, DEA, CDC, ATF, FAA, CIA, DoD, and pretty much any other acronym you can name. IMHO, the manipulation comes from higher up; the 'think tanks', the lobbies, the CFR, the bankers, etc.

It is becoming a tool to force the big fish to provide for the little fish. The little fish should go out and hunt so they can grow and become big fish, making all fish little is not the solution.

It may go either way. It will vary from place to place, and even in the same place it may change from one to the other over time.

Government is nothing but a necessary but unfair, annoying evil. That's all. It's the way things are. Humanity and this world are basically very imperfect and ****** up really.

Government only ever existed to protect the haves from the have nots. The American experiment was just a little deviation in form from function (ie reality). Not to worry. It won't be around much longer.

jointly as incredibly massive goldfish would bully or maybe consume tiny goldfish, those ones are close adequate in length to stay mutually ok, assuming you have adequate room for 3 goldfish. 10cm continues to be a baby, grownup length for a shopper-friendly goldfish is approximately 30cm, yet thats a destiny issue. precise now they are advantageous. It's advertised and sold as the first.

    After implemented,

It decays and devolves into the second.
