Depends how many first downs the offense gets. If the offense gets shut down by the defense and gets a 3 and out, the then drive would only last about 2 minutes, while if the offense got a couple first downs, it could be a 4 or 5 minute drive. Avery successful drive by the offensive team that gets about 5 first downs could last 7 or 8 minutes.

WOW! That's a lot of commentary to address. So I will simply address the AFC West since that is near and dear to my heart. CHARGERS - I can see them finishing 12-4 and a #2 seed the AFC. But that won't come easy with the schedule we have. Some of our tougher opponents include home games against Baltimore, Miami, Phillidelphia, and Washington. Then we have road games against Pittsburgh, Phillidelphia, Cleveland, Dallas, and Tennesee. So if we can finish the season at 12-4 then I don't think there is any stopping the Chargers this year. BRONCOS - I thought the Charger schedule look tough until I saw Denver's schedule. Games against Cincinnati, Cleveland, Oakland, Dallas, New England, and San Diego. And that's just in their first 6 weeks! Looking at the rest of their schedule (Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Washington, San Diego again, New York Giants, Indianapolis, and Phillidelphia) I think the Broncos would be LUCKY to finish their season at 6-10 or 7-9. Especially with a new quarterback and coaching staff. CHIEFS - Their schedule isn't quite as horrible as Denver, and with Matt Cassell as starting QB I think the Chiefs may surprise a few people this year. Dare I say they finish better than Denver with a 8-8 record or possibly 9-7? RAIDERS - Until the earth opens up to swallow Al Davis, don't expect anything more than a 5-11 record. But look at their schedule and show me a team they can beat! 5-11 might be a stretch!
