I cannot get the little halogen light bulbs in the two holes in my under the counter lighting help!!!?

The pins are hard to line up, especially if they are covered by hoods and such.
Just persevere if you line the pins up to the holes as best as you can then you only have to rotate a small amount to let them slip in. Try a mirror and torch to help locate the direction of the holes.

Are you sure you have the correct type of bulb? The 50w and 35w ones look the same, but they aren't.
Compare the old bulb to the new bulb.
If they are the same, then you need a flashlight and maybe a mirror to align the pins to the holes.

It sounds like you may have the wrong base type. If they are low voltage, your bulb should have a a G4 or a G6.35 Base. If line voltage they would be a G6.35 or G8. Not all sockets will allow you to change base sizes.
