Stars Wars Movie Help...?

I've never seen any of the Star Wars movies and I really want to watch them, but I don't know where to start. Can anyone tell me the order of the movies? It would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!! ♥

    The chronological order is;

    Phantom Menace

    Attack of the Clones

    Revenge of the Sith

    A New Hope

    Empire Strikes Back

    Return of the Jedi

But if you want, you can watch them as they were released:

    A New Hope

    Empire Strikes Back

    Return of the Jedi

    Phantom Menace

    Attack of the Clones

    Revenge of the Jedi

I would watch Episode IV A New Hope first because it has the best storyline and cast than the rest of the movies. I suggest you watch the 1997 special edition of the old movies. The old movies were the original 3 that came out in 1977,1980, and 1983. After watching the original trilogy, give the prequels a try and see how you like those. If you like bad acting, a weak storyline, and a special effects extravaganza, then you'll like the prequels. Now, here is how George Lucas wants you to watch them,

    The Phantom Menace

    Attack of the Clones

    Revenge of the Sith

    A New Hope

    Empire Strikes Back

    Return of the Jedi

Watch the original trilogy first. You must watch A New Hope though.

This is the order they were released to the public.

Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope

Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back

Star Wars Episode VI: The Return Of The Jedi

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace

Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones

Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith

The proper order is to start with the original trilogy first: A new hope (IV), Return of the Jedi (V), The Empire Strikes Back (VI). Then go onto the newer trilogy, the prequils: Phantom Menace (I), Attack of the Clones (II), and finally Revenge of the Sith (III). Also, the recent animated film Star Wars: the Clone Wars, can be watched after the first six, but it wasn't very good.

    The Phantom Menance

    The Clone Wars

    Revenge of the Sith

    A New Hope

    The Empire Strikes Back

    Return of The Jedi

Techniqually the last three came out first because the first three were prequels. I sugest you watch them in this order for the plot.

you can watch the order it cam out in which is IV (New hope), V (The Empire strikes back), VI ( Return of the jedi) then watch (1)"the phantom menace", (2)"attack of the clones" and (3)"revenge of the Sith"

    i would recommend that order.

but you can watch it in numerical order too
