Cheap Drug Store Skin Care Routine for a 13 year old?

I'm thirteen years old and I don't have the wealthiest parents in the world. I do get the occasional 3-5 pimples at a time and I have blackheads all over my face. At the moment I'm not very consistent with cleansing my face and I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub 1-2 times a week and the Neutrogena Wave everyday. (again not very consistent) I have very dry, sensitive skin so please don't recommend any harsh products. I need a CLEANSER, TREATMENT, & MOISTURIZER. Please and thank you. (:

The apricot scrub is probably drying out your skin. the grains that are in the scrub are to big for your skin, so instead of taking the dead skin off it just scratches your face and makes it more dry skin. Try one with small exfoliants and that has moisturizing agents. Use your old one for your body instead.

So you'd need a good face wash, if you skin is dry try like an olive oil cleanser. You can do a scrub or a mask once a week (clay masks are good) for a skin moisturizer just make sure there is no mineral oils in the first three or four ingredients because it doesn't absorb into your skin. Also try to have one with an SPF in it.

you should def. wash every day with an oil free cleanser it doesn't matter if it is foam, or liquid or cream. Then you need to use a toner to get rid of dead skin cells. It may sting but i works!! I would recomend clean and clear acne clearing astringent. astringent is the same thing as toner. Then either a cream (topical) that fights acne or cleansing pads like oxy. Then the most important thing is to MOISTURIZE!!!!! DO NOT just put it on the dry spots put it everywhere!! It will make the oily spots not as oily and less oil usually means less pimples or zits. This should make your acne better and make your skin feel better!! GOOD LUCK<3

I would stick with Neutrogena products if you can. An alternative is Clean 'n Clear. I think they are cheaper and I find them quite comparable to Neutrogena.

You can find a cleanser, treatment (salicylic acid is my preferred active for acne), and moisturizer. I think you should use sunscreen daily in a moisturizer to protect your skin. You'll be glad that you did when you get older.
